What We Bring to the Community
Monthly Workshops/ Meetings
SBAA hosts monthly meetings and workshops that are open to the local community at little to no cost. These events offer valuable opportunities to network, learn, and grow together in an inclusive environment.
Scholarships
The Nita Elder Scholarship supports (3) Suffolk County High School seniors pursuing higher education in the visual arts. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help young artists kickstart their creative journeys.
Promotion of Local Artists
Our non-profit promotes local artists by hosting multiple group and solo shows at our three satellite galleries. This initiative provides a platform for talented individuals to showcase their work and connect with the community.
Artists on The Lane
SBAA has proudly hosted AoTL for 65 years, showcasing internationally recognized artists each 4th of July. This event highlights local and visiting vendors, fostering community and artistic appreciation.
Help Us Find a Home
Due to not having a permanent space, we are unable to apply for grants, hindering our ability to expand our offerings. If you or anyone you know is a local building owner in Bellport/Brookhaven, NY Area willing to collaborate with us by providing a space or information on available spaces, please reach out to us.
