Woodland – Scribbles & Strokes: An exhibition honoring the life and art of SBAA Member and local artist Rosi Berry

The South Bay Art Association is proud to present “Woodland – Scribbles & Strokes,” a heartfelt exhibition celebrating the joyful world of the late Rosi Berry, a cherished member of our creative community. Known for her whimsical illustrative style, Rosi’s work often captured the spirit and charm of animals, birds, and woodland creatures.  This exhibition at Sayville Library showcases a selection of Rosi’s own works alongside pieces by fellow members of the South Bay Art Association, all highlighting the woodland creatures and critters so often found in her art. Each piece reflects the gentle spirit and joy Rosi shared through her creativity—works that inspire hope, just as she did. Artists of all genres and styles are encouraged to participate.

This exhibition will be held at the Sayville Library which has a very large exhibition space.  SBAA has access to the Display Case in the Lobby, the Lobby Wall and the Gallery Walls on the lower level. We encourage artists to submit two pieces so we can fill the space with beautiful art in Rosi’s honor.

Between Tides

Between Tides explores fleeting moments shaped by water, time, and movement. In this group exhibition, SBAA artists reflect on the relationship between humanity and water. Within the powerful stillness of the "In between"—where ebb meets flow—water emerges as a source of life and a metaphor for resilience, peace, and strength. Artists are invited to submit works that explore water in all its beauty and emotional depth.

  • Artists of all genres and styles are encouraged to participate.

  • 2D and 3D work is accepted for submission.

  • AI generated work is not permitted.

  • Work must be original and not previously exhibited at Brewport Coffee House.

  • Only one piece may be submitted, per artist.
