Wild: An SBAA Fine Art Showcase of Exotic Animals and Plants
Wild celebrates the wonder of discovery, showcasing the unique and fascinating flora and fauna found in distant lands. Explore the iconic wildlife roaming the vast plains, the lush canopies and hidden critters of tropical rainforests, the mysterious creatures of the deep ocean and coral reefs, and the resilient life forms that thrive in scorching deserts, arid terrains, and the freezing air of alpine and arctic environments. Let your imagination run wild! But not too wild! If it can be found living or growing naturally on Long Island, it is not considered exotic.
This exhibition will be held in the art gallery at the South Country Library in Bellport. Due to the nature of our shared public satellite gallery spaces, all artwork is subject to final approval by the Exhibitions Committee to ensure an appropriate fit for the venue.

2D Submission Criteria:
Work must be original, AI generated work is not permitted
Accepted Framed Size Range: Minimum 11” × 14” to Maximum 16” × 20”
Note: Measurements must reflect the outermost edges of the frame.
Black frames are preferred, White, natural wood, and silver are also accepted.
All work must be D-ringed, and wired (no exceptions, no sawtooth or eye hooks)*
Please do not use a frame that cannot be properly wired.
Direct sales are not permitted within the library; however, SBAA will connect you directly with interested buyers.
Only one piece may be submitted, per artist.
We kindly ask that you review your details carefully and spell check before submitting, as all entries are final. Once your entry is submitted, modifications, updates, and price changes cannot be accepted.

Drop Off: Tuesday, December 1 at 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. at South Country Library in Bellport
Closing Reception: Saturday, January 30, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Pick Up: - Saturday, January 30, 3:00 p.m. wait until the end of the reception to remove your artwork
NOTE: South Country Library is not able to receive mailed or shipped artwork - please make arrangements to hand deliver your artwork to the location at the designated time. If you want to participate but cannot make the drop-off or pick-up, please coordinate with another member to bring or retrieve your artwork. Because we are all volunteers, we cannot provide alternate arrangements and will not be responsible for the storage of artwork. Anyone who drops off or picks up artwork outside the designated times provided will NOT be permitted to exhibit with SBAA.
LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
*All artwork must be appropriately wired before drop-off. If the artwork is not wired, it will be rejected by the South Bay Art Association (SBAA) volunteers and will not be included in the exhibition. Please be advised that South Bay volunteers will not possess any hardware and are not authorized to manipulate another artist's work, even with the artist's consent.
