SBAA is excited to partner with Mama Chan’s for a two-week pop-up exhibition this April. This exhibition theme, “Abundance”, celebrates the vitality of spring with imagery inspired by flowers, fruits, and the prosperity of flourishing flora and fauna. The exhibition highlights themes of growth, renewal, and the joy of nature in full bloom. Open to all mediums.
Participation is first come, first served with a $10 supply fee. SBAA will provide wooden panels for each artwork to be completed on- ALL WORKS MUST BE COMPLETED ON THE SUPPLIED PANEL or else will be rejected for participation. Please read below for all the details.
This is a pop- up event in East Northport- the drop off/ pick up are going to be in BELLPORT- This is very different from a regular SBAA exhibition, please read carefully. Thank you for your interest!
THIS SHOW IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 12 SBAA ARTISTS THAT ARE MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING. ARTISTS WILL BE NOTIFIED.
Artists of all genres and styles are encouraged to participate.
2D only work is accepted for submission. - must be completed on the supplied 8”x8” panel
AI generated work is not permitted.
Work must be original and not previously exhibited.
Only one piece may be submitted, per artist.- registration is first come first served.
Sales are handled through the South Bay Art Association, with commissions divided as follows: 20% to Mama Chan’s *, 5% to SBAA, and 75% to the artist. Commission payments will be issued within 60 days after the close of the exhibition.

2D Submission Criteria:
ALL WORKS MUST BE COMPLETED ON THE SUPPLIED 8” X 8 “PANEL– so all works can be uniform and safely displayed at this pop up event.

please note-work may be installed using Command Strips/Command Strip Hooks, with Sticky Tack/ gel putty

SBAA is not liable for any damage that may occur to pieces from Command Strips, or while your piece is on exhibition. Our Exhibition Committee will do our best to ensure the safety of all pieces submitted.

Deadline to Register: February18th 2026. Late registrations will not be accepted- pick up your panel at the SBAA monthly meeting with an exhibitions volunteer- do not forget your $10 supply donation, Cash ONLY. If you cant make the 18th, reach out via email, the exhibitions commitee can try to meet up with you asap.

Pick Up: TBD*- For the ease of our members the Exhibitions Committee will take all works from Mama Chan’s. We will let you know a pick up date ASAP after the exhibition at the Bellport Community Center or piggyback on another SBAA event.
