Artist Bio

Whitney Bell is a landscape photographer who creates visual poetry exploring themes of hope and resiliency.

After a successful interior design career, Whitney received formal training at the International Center of Photography.

Whitney’s work has been recognized in juried exhibitions across the Northeast and online publications.

Whitney volunteers as SBAA’s exhibitions committee chair and a docent at The Heckscher Museum of Art.

Artist Statement

I believe in the restorative power of being in the presence of nature. It can transform one's state of mind. Guided by my intuition, I immerse myself in the wonder of the natural landscape, seeking solace and hope. My photography practice is a form of meditation - a way to find true stillness and a path forward. That experience is reflected in the images I make.
