Artist Statement

Brooklyn born, Long Island based Tre Pyne is an illustrator and fine artist. As a child, her desire to create her own cartoons kick-started her art journey. Later, she studied studio art at Fiorello LaGuardia High School and graduated with a degree in fashion illustration at FIT.

After some time, her passion and dedication to her art was rekindled, culminating in exhibitions in Remsenburg, Patchogue, Bellport, Sayville and Port Jeff. Station in the past 2 years. Her works are mainly in acrylic paint, pen and ink and watercolor. They share a bold and bright palette with smooth strokes. Beauty from the nearby ocean, trees, flowers, the cosmos and even her cat influence her works. She is driven to bring out a smile or brighten one’s day with her works. When not painting, Tre is reading, gardening or lounging at a nearby beach.
