Artist Bio

Casey Greene is a Long Island–based fine artist and educator working in watercolor and mixed media. 


Inspired by culture, history, mythology, folklore, and wildlife, her work blends storytelling with imagination to “bring a bit of magic to the ordinary.” 


She has exhibited throughout Long Island, received recognition from Art & Color 365 Magazine, and serves on the exhibition committee of the South Bay Art Association while teaching adult art classes locally.

Artist Statement

Casey Greene is a fine artist and educator based in Long Island, NY. Working across a range of mediums, she has recently found her artistic home in watercolor and mixed media. Her work is inspired by culture, history, mythology, folklore, and wildlife, blending the familiar with the imaginative. As Greene describes her approach, she strives “to bring a bit of magic to the ordinary.”

 

Greene’s artwork has been featured in galleries, boutiques, and community spaces throughout Long Island, with a strong presence on the South Shore, where she was raised. She received an Honorable Mention in Art & Color 365 Magazine’s “Wildlife and Animals” edition and has exhibited at events such as Artist on the Lane and the annual South Bay Art Association Juried Members Exhibition, where she was awarded Third Place for Acrylics.

 

In addition to exhibiting, Greene is an active member of the South Bay Art Association, serving on the exhibition committee and volunteering regularly. She also is an educator, teaching in local studios focusing on adult education. Through both her artwork and community involvement, she celebrates storytelling, nature, and a sense of quiet wonder rooted in place.
