Artist Bio

Alyssa Cipolla is a Patchogue-based educator and FAA Part 107-certified drone photographer. Drawn to capturing travel and Long Island’s natural beauty, her passion evolved into A1 Aerials, LLC, where she provides commercial drone photography for businesses and transforms her aerial images into designs for stationery, ornaments, tote bags, and more.

Artist Statement

I didn’t start as a photographer. I’m a self-taught drone pilot and a lifelong learner, drawn to the beauty of Long Island and the unique perspectives the sky can offer. What began as a hobby, capturing travel scenes and local landscapes, grew into A1 Aerials, LLC, where I provide commercial drone photography for businesses like painters, contractors, tree services, and real estate professionals.

Beyond commercial work, I enjoy turning my aerial images into designs for apparel, bags, stationery, and other everyday items, sharing a little piece of Long Island with people in a more personal way. I love the way drone photography allows me to see familiar places differently, highlighting patterns, light, and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

For me, photography is about the freedom I feel when I fly. That sense of openness, movement, and possibility guides how I capture each scene and shapes the videos and images I create. I hope that energy translates into my work, giving viewers a glimpse of the world from above and a sense of the wonder and perspective I experience in the sky.
