BIG WORKS
An SBAA Juried Group Membership Exhibition at BAFFA to celebrate larger works created by our membership.
EXHIBITION DATES: September 5th-29th
DEADILNE FOR SUBMISSION: Saturday, August 24, 2024 (no late submissions will be accepted)
ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION: Sunday, August 26, 2024
DROP OFF: Thursday, September 5, 2024 6 PM - 7 PM (no exceptions)
PICK UP: Sunday, September 29, 2024 10AM-12PM (no exceptions)

This juried exhibition is an opportunity to enter your larger works, we will only accept pieces
over 16” x 20”. Artists who are not able to make drop off and pick up will not be accepted into
the show. Please make sure your information is correct at the time of submission. Changes will
not be allowed after the submission process closes.
All work must be SECURELY WIRED and ready for safe hanging. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS. Any
unsafe, non-professional framing, or presentation will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please be sure to have your name and title of your work attached to the back of your piece.
Exhibiting artists will be required to gallery sit during which time you can host an artist meet
and greet mini reception (alcohol is not permitted). The BAFFA gallery will be open Saturdays
and Sundays from 1-4PM provided sitters are available.
Please note that BAFFA's commission is 25% for non-members. 20% for BAFFA members.
Artists can join BAFFA before the exhibit starts to receive the commission deduction.
All exhibiting artists will need to complete an Artist Release form for BAFFA digitally, prior to dropoff. Artist Release Form will be emailed to artists upon acceptance confirmation.
We recommend artists carry their own insurance as South Bay Art Association and BAFFA will
not insure or be responsible to missing or damaged artwork. If work is sold, BAFFA will pay out commission to the artist. SBAA receives no commission on any sales by it's members.
